Best summer ever.
I promised I will blog about the summer escapades that I had this year, but I am too lazy (or too stressed, blame it on my target this year) to post it one by one. Such a bummer (???) as I am, I decided to roll my summer escapades into one! As I am sorting my photos, I am surprised how I traveled from one place to the other! It’s just June and I’ve been to a lot of places already!!
February 2012 Bangkok, Thailand
We celebrated our first anniversary in Bangkok! It’s actually my gift to him. I just wasn’t able to control myself that I informed him ahead of time. :P The highlight of our trip?? Elephant ride!! And of course.. endless cheap thrills!! We fell inlove with Bangkok that we are planning to go there again next year. (Hmm, I’m coming back this August with my best friend/another travel buddy for some serious shopping.hahaha)

We also visited a few temples. This is one of my favorite pictures. Sawasdee ka!

April 2012 Tagaytay
This is a recollection/outing. It is John’s choir mates who organized. John invited me and I tagged Lester along! Haha! My favorite part of the trip? Cheap massage and good food! I love John’s choir mates! they are all so nice to us.

April 2012 Puerto del Sol Resort, Pangasinan
Thanks to sites who sell “discounted” vouchers, we are able to stay at Puerto del Sol. This is just a quick weekend getaway. Thank God I was able to relax after a very stressful month! Highlight of our trip: mature realizations and ordinary long bus ride. (it’s fun! promise!:P)

“best” kayak experience. (so to speak.) hahaha.

May 2012 Bacolod City
We went to Bacolod to attend a wedding. John’s closest friend got married and I was able to visit some of the wonderful places in Bacolod. People are friendly, the food is really really awesome!
So of course we tried the best resto who offers chicken inasal. And yes, it’s really the best! Waaaay different from the inasal that we have in Manila.

They say this is our version of Taj Mahal. I really am mesmerized with The Ruins! We had our own moment there. hahaha.

Mambukal falls! Because we lack time and energy, we weren’t able to make it to the 7th falls. But I promise, when I go back, I will visit Mambukal and try my luck. :P

Some good friends that we’ve met there :)

The only picture that we have with the newly-weds. Blame it on too much lighting. Grrr.:P

May 2012 Puerto Galera
Last but not the last.. The trip that I had last week.. With one of my favorite travel buddies! Ghia (my best friend) with her boyfie Israel, and our forever tag-along friend Lester! Another short trip (weekend; overnight) that was planned long time ago.
We were able to maximize our day. Island hopping, snorkeling and food trip!

Welcome to the good life!
The super fun part: we had a hard time looking for the best bar to party.. Ending: We decided to make our own party! This is one of the most epic nights ever!!:)

We actually had some really wonderful pictures taken there. Pre-nup-ish pictures. I am kinda hesitant to upload some of it though. But let me share one. (Just one.)
This is our version. Thank you Lester, you’re such a genius!!!

And Ghia’s version.

So I had the best summer of my life. My out of town/out of the country trips don’t end there. I still have a lot in line this year. And all I can say is that… All the things that had happened to me in the past made me realize that God really has plans for me. And I am so happy that it all happened. Ghia you are right.. Everything happens for a reason. <3
xoxo.
